| Sensingways is developing precision heading sensors for the Towed Array community. Towed Arrays are long sonar cables which are typically pulled through the water by submarines and surface ships for surveillance or survey purposes. These heading sensors are designed for high-reliability and are targeted for long-term use applications. The overall dimensions are less than 1" in diameter and short in length. Sensingways is familiar with difficult heading accuracy requirements to be maintained over temperature, latitude, orientation, depth, and time.
